Weekly roundup – Type 2 roll out begins
Four new great places to charge added to ZeroNet this week.
ZeroNet has expanded this week with the addition of four new charging locations that require no smartcard, no membership and no subscription.
The new locations can all be seen on the ZeroNet map where information about their location and contact details can also be found.
This week, the following locations were added:
- North Harbour Unit Trust, Portsmouth – Park and ride into the city centre or top off on the outskirts of the city.
- Winterdale Cheesemakers, Kent – Learn about and buy some British cheese while powering up. Even the cheese is low carbon emissions!
- The Anchorage, Dorset – detached chalet bungalow, situated in a quiet residential area, in the suburb of Hamworthy, close to Poole Harbour and town.
- Royal Sportsman Hotel, Gwynedd – one of the top four AA & Visit Wales 3 star hotels in all of North Wales and is considered to be one of the very best in Snowdonia.
Potential new locations can nominate themselves through the Apply for free Charging Stations form.
